A Puzzle Meadow game

SUM

A quiet game of mathematical noticing.

Small puzzles about order, balance, patterns and relationships. SUM is less about calculating quickly and more about noticing what is already there.

No timers. No streaks. No leaderboard. Just the small moment when everything falls into place.

Available now on iPhone and iPad.

Meet SUM

Sometimes the answer is something you notice.

Mathematics has a charming habit of hiding everywhere — in order, balance, rhythm, shapes and unexpected connections.

SUM turns those small observations into puzzles. Some ask you to arrange things. Others ask you to balance, group, compare or recognize a pattern.

There is no pressure to solve them quickly. Move things around, look again, leave a puzzle for a while if you like.

The interesting part is the moment when the relationship suddenly becomes visible.

How it works

A few pieces. One relationship to discover.

  1. 01

    Look

Each puzzle gives you a small mathematical situation without a long explanation. Start by noticing what seems to belong together.

  2. 02

    Move

Arrange, group or place the pieces. SUM is designed to be explored by touch rather than solved through menus and instructions.

  3. 03

    Notice

When the relationship becomes clear, the puzzle tends to feel obvious in retrospect. That little change in perspective is the point.

Inside SUM

Three quiet glimpses from the app.

  • SUM home screen showing ten mathematical puzzle sets.
    01

    Choose what to notice

Begin with small ideas such as order, balance, difference, sequences and patterns. The first two sets — 32 puzzles in total — are free to explore.

  • A SUM puzzle with numbered tiles on a quiet botanical background.
    02

    Move the pieces

Try, move, compare and rearrange the pieces until the relationship becomes visible.

  • SUM Golden Spiral mathematical card with the Fibonacci sequence.
    Reward

    Keep a curiosity

Discover mathematical cards along the way, like the Golden Spiral — small ideas worth keeping and sharing.

Something to keep

Mathematics has stories too.

As you explore SUM, you can discover a small collection of mathematical cards.

Each card takes an intriguing idea — a shape, pattern, theorem or mathematical curiosity — and turns it into something worth keeping and sharing.

They are not scores or achievements. Think of them as little postcards from mathematics.

Made to feel different

A puzzle game with very little to prove.

  • No ads

No banners, rewarded videos or interruptions.

  • No timers or streaks

There is nothing to maintain and nobody to beat.

  • Made for noticing

The puzzles favour observation and experimentation over speed.

  • Play at your own pace

Close the game halfway through a puzzle. It will still be there when you return.

  • Four languages

SUM supports English, Dutch, German and Vietnamese.

  • Try the beginning free

The first two sets — 32 puzzles in total — can be played for free. Premium is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the remaining puzzle collection.

Before you play

The practical bits.

Do I need to be good at maths?
No. SUM is primarily about noticing relationships rather than doing difficult calculations. Familiarity with basic arithmetic helps, but the puzzles are designed around observation and experimentation.
Are there timers, scores or streaks?
No. SUM has no countdowns, leaderboards, daily streaks or competitive scoring.
How much can I play for free?
The first two sets, with 16 puzzles each, are included for free — 32 puzzles in total. The remainder can be unlocked with a single Premium in-app purchase.
